Burn victims are being taken to the National Burn Unit one by one.
A Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed into a building of Milestone School and College in Uttara, the capital. The Fire Service has confirmed the death of at least one person in the incident. Rescue work is underway at the scene. The injured are being taken to the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute of Dhaka Medical College one by one. As of 3 pm today, Monday, 25 people have been admitted there. Hospital officials say that most of the injured are students. However, the names of the injured could not be immediately identified.

A statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the aircraft took off at 1:06 pm today, Monday. It later crashed. The total number of casualties in the incident could not be immediately confirmed. However, the Fire Service said that at least one person has died. Lima Khan, the officer in charge of the Fire Service control room, told Prothom Alo shortly after 2 pm today that four injured people have been taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) by an Air Force helicopter.
The Fire Service’s public relations department said that the accident was reported at 1:18 pm. It is said that a training plane crashed at Milestone College. Their units arrived at 1:22 pm. Now eight units from Uttara, Tongi, Pallabi, Kurmitola, Mirpur, and Purbachal fire stations are working.
